"The Heights" is that large diptych I was working on some weeks ago. Put the
finishing touches on it this afternoon. Quite a challenge - it began as
an abstract piece - but then the abstract ground made a perfect
beginning for this landscape that is really quite abstract, especially
if you step close. This is oil on linen and is 72x30" - love working on
linen. This (and other large format oils) will be on display at Saint Laurent Winery May 19 during
their Barrel Tasting event. A perfect centerpiece for your living room.
